Snakes and Ladders: Snakes and Ladders is a game where you can test your luck and also hone your strategy skills. It is a board game which we all know and we have all played it when we were young. The object of the game is to navigate ones way around the board, to land on the number '100', using dice rolls. Based upon how you progress, you may or may not get to reach that coveted 100 space. Some spaces will help you move ahead while others will slow down your progress towards 100. The player who reaches 100 first wins! 2. Parchís: Parchís is another board game which has been around for centuries now. This game is a strategy game and has been referred to as 'The most provocative of all games'. The goal of the game is to have the highest number of cubes on your side of the board.This game originated in Spain during 1730-1760. The two teams are red and black respectively. The red team occupies one side of the board while the black team controls the other half. There are several squares on both sides which are occupied by cubes. One player from each side starts by placing four stones on one of those spots. That player can choose not to place any more stones there, but if he do so, he will be moved to another spot on that side. 3. Othello: Othello is a strategy game which has been around for centuries. This is one of the most popular board games from the early 1900s till today. It is a great family game, easy to learn and understand, and plays very well with adults too! The object of the game is to be the first player or team to use all their tokens, or tiles, to form a horizontal line in front of them on their side of the board.
